There is little in my world that can’t be fixed by pain au chocolat dipped in a warm cup of coffee. Luckily, Lyon St. Cafe has been providing me with MadCap Coffee, delicious baked goods, and a touch of ambience since November 2014.

Cafes like this are my weakness. There is seating inside for those days when you want to sit down and act like you’re doing work on your laptop (not browsing tumblr), and a small outdoor seating area to relax on a mild Michigan day. Also, their decor is what reclaimed wood and Edison Bulb dreams are made of.

The coffee menu is top notch with all of your staple pour over drinks and espresso beverages. Tea isn’t really my thing, but they serve that too.
